MSpectrum, Citizen Finedevice switch-on solar project

MSpectrum Inc., the wholly owned solar subsidiary of the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has energized the solar rooftop facility of Japanese manufacturer Citizen Finedevice Philippines Corp. in Batangas province. Officials from the two companies inaugurated the new 726 kilowatt-peak (kWp) solar project at Citizen Finedevice’s manufacturing facility in Sto. Tomas. The project is expected to generate approximately 1.055 GWh of clean energy every year.

Through this facility, Citizen Finedevice will be able to reduce its carbon footprint by an estimated 751 metric tons, translating to more than 34,500 trees planted and more than 1.8 million kilometers reduced in vehicle travel per year.

Citizen Finedevice is a manufacturing company focused on the production and sale of precise metal machined components for various gadgets and devices.
